Francesco Bagnaia will be keen to bounce back in style in the current MotoGP season by clinching the
Hungarian MotoGP.

The Ducati Lenovo Team rider could not finish in a podium position at the Austrian MotoGP on August 17, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bagnaia disappointingly finished eighth and he withdrew from the sprint event after he suffered from rear-wheel spinning at the start, which saw him collect eight points from the race.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 28-year-old is still placed third in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 221 points from 13 races.
Bagnaia is 55 points behind second-placed Alex Marquez of Ducati and 197 points behind the leader, Marc Marquez of Ducati.
Why Bagnaia could win the 2025 Hungarian MotoGP
The former Pramac Racing rider has failed to secure a podium spot in the last two races and he is under pressure to return to winning ways in order to boost his top-two ambitions.
Bagnaia, who is a two-time MotoGP world champion, will be looking to replicate the form that saw him emerge victorious at this season's Americas MotoGP.
What did he say?
"Today I found myself battling for the top eight and was 12 seconds behind the winner at the line – my pace was slow," Bagnaia said after the 2025 Austrian MotoGP.
"The weekend started off very well and the pace shown on both Friday and Saturday morning was a good one. Then we know how the Sprint and race went, and it’s a pity. The potential is there, but we can’t express it in the race right now.”
